Chapter 0: Character Aesthetics

MAIN CHARACTERS

Rajkumar Adhiran/Adi

Rajkumar Adhiran/Adi (19 years)

What can you say about him...truly the embodiment of a spoiled rich brat! Spoiled, never worked a day in his life...and the furthest from any responsibilities. Mischievous and unpredictable, he carries the charm of someone who has never known restraint. Sharp-tongued, playful, and teasing, he hides a gentle kindness beneath his mischievous grin. Whether in princely robes or not, his laughter lingers longer than words, and his eyes hint at a heart that cares deeply, though quietly. Any room he steps in, his presence lights up the room instantly, either through his charm or through his mischievous antics. The second youngest out of the four children of the King Rajendran and Queen Malini in the kingdom of Suryanagari.

Devayan/Dev

Devayan/Dev (19 years)

The eldest of the two sons of his father, King Rajendran's most trusted bodyguard, Dhruv. Calm, composed, hard-working and strikingly handsome, he is the voice of reason beside a whirlwind. Intelligent, disciplined, and quietly confident, his presence soothes without effort. His voice as smooth as velvet yet wit as sharp as a blade! His soft-spoken words carry more weight than most realize. He cares the most about his family, especially his little brother, Vihaan.

Rajkumari Aarohi

Rajkumari Aarohi (8 years)

She's the youngest out of the four children of King Rajendran (and also an important part of this story). She loves all her siblings but shares a special bond with Adhiran because of his charming yet silly antics which always makes her laugh out loudly.

SIDE CHARACTERS

Maharaj Rajendran (49 years)

The King of Suryanagari. A man shaped by duty and discipline.
Power sits easily on his shoulders, not as cruelty, but as responsibility. He is strict, measured, and unyielding when it comes to the laws of the kingdom—and just as firm as a father. Though his patience is often tested by Adhiran’s mischief and his open disinterest in royal duties, the King does not meet it with anger. Instead, beneath the stern gaze lies a quiet worry for the future of his son. And hidden even deeper is fondness—unspoken, restrained, but unwavering—for all his children.

Maharani Malini (45 years)

The Queen is gentleness in human form—soft-spoken, kind, and endlessly patient. Where Maharaj rules with command, she leads with warmth. Her presence calms the palace, her words carrying weight without ever being raised. She is a loving mother to all her four children. Every child in the palace respects her deeply, not out of fear, but devotion. She listens more than she speaks, loves without condition, and stands as the quiet heart of the royal family.

Rajkumar Ajitesh (23 years)

The eldest of the four children of the King and queen. He is everything a future king is expected to be—regal, disciplined, and unwavering in his sense of duty. Intelligent and accomplished, he carries responsibility with quiet grace, earning respect without demanding it. Ajitesh sees Adhiran's chaotic nature as familiarity and not a problem—meeting it not with frustration, but a fond sigh and the occasional facepalm. A true king in the making, steady where his younger brother is wild.

Rajkumari Avantika (21 years)

Graceful and radiant, Avantika moves effortlessly between beauty and brilliance. She dolls up in fine silks and jewels, yet finds equal joy in literature, poetry, and the quiet art of healing—skilled in herbs, medicines, and ayurvedic remedies. Ethereally beautiful and deeply perceptive, she holds a gentle fondness for her younger brother Adhiran too, often sharing amused glances, laughter, and resigned sighs with the Ajitesh as they watch his mischief unfold.

Royal guard Dhruv

A man of unwavering discipline and loyalty and the King’s most trusted. Known for his tireless dedication and stern sense of duty. Strict yet fair, he raised his two sons...Devayan and Vihaan...with honor, responsibility, and an unbreakable devotion to the crown—teaching them that service is not a choice, but a way of life.

Vihaan (10 years)

The younger brother of Dev, who despite his young age is very earnest and respectful. Well-mannered and observant, he listens more than he speaks, learning the world through careful eyes. He looks up to his father and brother Dev with unwavering admiration—seeing in them not just strength and honor, but the kind of men he hopes to become one day.
